Hello, Hello!!!

I still do exist. I have been saying I am going to blog for weeks now (as always)but have been waiting because I wanted to put pictures with my post. That doesn't seem to be happening (especially since my computer is in storage at this point in time) so oh well here I go..........

Much has happen since the beginning of the year. Dal and I got a puppy! A Yorkshire terrier named SAMSON. He is the cutest thing ever! He defiantly has been some work with potty training, feedings, scheduling and all that, that goes with taking care of something--your time becomes not yours anymore.

We had to move out because the place where we were staying doesn't allow pets. So we are currently living with Dal's parents while we are working on getting a house--one out of foreclosure hopefully. It has been fun looking online, mapping them out, and going house driving. We are looking forward to having a place of our own that we can fix up and do the way we want to. We are just trying to be patient.......it is hard. I must admit though I am doing extremely well living out of a 12x12 room. Who would of thought with all of my junk. I am slowly learning to simplify and i kind of like it! You wouldn't say that if you saw our storage shed though. Let's just say that we will be doing a lot of de-junking when we move.

As far as work Dal and I are still lucky to have our jobs in this crazy economy. I am still working at SOS Staffing and have just past my 2 year mark--WA-WHO!! The market is slowly picking back up. This week I am actually running the office in Provo. The office manager in Provo, wife just had a baby so I was asked to cover for a week and a half. Kind of nice to know that I can run an office now if I need to or want to--who knows? It is pretty slow in this office, so I keep finding things to keep me busy whether it be auditing, marketing calls, etc. 10 hours of that would drive me crazy though--so I am taking a little blogging break.
Dal is still at American Express and H-A-T-E-S IT as he would say, but is plugging through it. He flew down to Phoenix, AZ. today to spend a couple days with my parents doing taxes. He took some tax classes these past couple months, and is going to learn the tricks of the trade. I think he will be really good at it! It is a good skill to always have under your belt.

That is about it with us. I have taken up quilting since we are living with the master quilter herself--Dal's mom. She has taught me well, and I am really enjoying it. Since Dal works at nights it gives me something to do at nights.

(Although starting on March 30th his shift will be changing and he will be on days until 9:30pm. So we will see how that goes hopefully we will be able to see more of each other. But he does have to work on Saturdays now which kind of is a bummer. I guess it all works out though, because I can judge gymnastics while he is at work. But all in all I think 9:30pm is much better than 1am.)

I have completed one big quilt that I made my Dad for his birthday, and then 3 baby quilts that I have given away at baby showers- since everyone is having babies!!
I have taken pictures of them all, because after I finish them they are so cute that I don't want to give them away--so a picture will have to do. I will post them someday.
Dal's been getting kind of baby hungry lately. Especially after playing with Shannon's baby Eden and our niece Molly. It is really cute and he is so good with them. We both agree that we need to get a bit more established first. Get a house and then we can have a baby--so we will see, time will tell.

We are coming up on our 1 year anniversary here soon. I just can't believe how quickly time has flew by. I love being married, I love my husband, and life is good!
